Arif Khan is a Board-Certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician. He received his bachelor’s degree in medical sciences from Trinity College at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada, and his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean. Dr. Khan completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, OH, followed by a fellowship in pain management at the New York University’s Center for Study and Treatment of Pain, with extensive training at the Manhattan VA Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital, Tisch Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases, and Center for Musculoskeletal Care, all located in New York City. Dr. Khan is Board certified in anesthesiology from The American Board of Anesthesiology.
His professional interests include utilizing interventional pain treatments for chronic low back and neck pain, spinal pain, cancer pain, neuromodulation, and peri-operative pain control.
Dr. Khan is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesiologists, Spine Intervention Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
